  Step 1: Inoculation

  • Sanitize: Before starting, wipe the self-healing injection port with 70% isopropyl alcohol.

  • Inject: Use your spores or liquid culture to inject directly into the 3 lbs of grain at the bottom of the bag.

  • Wait: Place the bag in a cool, dark place and wait for the grain to turn completely white with healthy mycelium.

  Step 2: The "Break and Shake"

  Once the bottom grain layer is fully colonized (it should look solid white), it is time to mix the bag. Do not open the bag.

  • Break it up: Use your hands to gently break the solid white grain block into small individual grains.

  • Mix thoroughly: Shake and massage the bag until the 3 lbs of grain and 3 lbs of C.V.G. substrate are completely mixed together.

  Step 3: Colonization & Fruiting

  • Secondary Growth: Let the bag sit again. The mycelium will now spread from the grains into the C.V.G. substrate.

  • Fruiting Mushrooms: Once the entire substrate bag is white again, you can grow your mushroom's in your mushroom grow bag 7-14 days. Some growers remove the whole bag and place the colonized mushroom block in a Mono Tub for fruiting even larger yields of fungi.

  Can You Use Your All-In-One Bag In A Mono Tub?

  Yes.  You can use an All-In-One mushroom grow bag in a fruiting chamber or mono tub. Once your All-In-One bags grain is colonized with mycelium, simply break up the colonized gains and mix with the CVG in the bag. Cut open the top of the mushroom grow bag and layer your substrate into your Mono Tub!
